One Year, One Word: Listen

Each year at First Baptist Church of Norristown, we have a single word that we reflect on and are actively pursuing as a church. This year, our word is LISTEN.

It's something we often forget to do. Our world is busy and chaotic and we forget to LISTEN to those who are in need. Romans 10:17 tells us, “The point is, before you trust, you have to LISTEN. But unless Christ's Word is preached, there's nothing to LISTEN to.” It is only by faith that we can understand the wonders of what Jesus Christ has done in our life. But before faith, we must LISTEN to the Good News. We must take in God’s Word each and every day so that we can truly hear and understand what He is saying in our lives.
