Hello! My name is Pastor CG Coats and I want to welcome you to the First Baptist Church of Norristown where we exist to "Shepherd messy and broken people toward holiness and wholeness through our Savior and Healer."
Each year at First Baptist Church, we have a single word that we reflect on and are actively pursuing as a church. This year, our word is LISTEN.
It's something we often forget to do. Our world is busy and chaotic and we forget to LISTEN to those who are in need. Romans 10:17 tells us, “The point is, before you trust, you have to listen. But unless Christ's Word is preached, there's nothing to listen to.” It is only by faith that we can understand the wonders of what Jesus Christ has done in our life. But before faith, we must LISTEN to the Good News. We must take in God’s holy word each and every day so that we can truly hear and understand what God is saying in our lives.
We hope you can join us this year and LISTEN either virtually or physically for our worship service at 10:30 AM each and every Sunday morning. Please use this link to request our Zoom information to join us virtually. I would love to meet you and find out what brought you to our community of faith!
Love in Christ, Pastor CG Coats
