VBS is just around the corner once again! This year, FBC's Vacation Bible School will take place from August 1st to the 5th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Our closing ceremony will occur during regular church service beginning at 10:30 AM on August 7th. If you would like to sign your child up, or graciously volunteer your time throughout the week, please use this link, or see the flyer attached below. We look forward to seeing you there! If you have questions, or would like more information, please contact the church office.
There are a few important details that we want to make sure you know. Firstly, please register your child before showing up to VBS so we can make things as quick and easy as possible. Space for VBS is limited, so please sign up as soon as possible. Next, to participate in VBS, your child must be at least four years old by August 1st. Teens and adults ages 12 and over may assist in leading crews, helping crew leaders, and running stations. To sign up, please use the same registration link provided above. Our closing ceremony this year will take place on August 7th at 10:30 AM. All VBS participants, as well as their friends and family, are invited to join us. And finally, VBS is completely free for all children. It's our gift to you and your child! Please direct any further questions to the church office.
We are in need of volunteers and donations to make VBS a success! If you are willing and able to volunteer, please contact Gary Carter, our Children and Youth Director. All volunteers must arrive at 8:30 AM every day for prayer and set-up. Please expect to stay for some time following the closing each day to debrief and clean-up. Anyone age 13 and older may volunteer, and any volunteers over the age of 18 must complete and submit a background check before the start of VBS. We will have a decorating night the Friday before the start of VBS, July 29th. Please join us that night to help transform the church. Additionally, volunteers (and their families) are invited to come to the closing ceremony on Sunday.
If you are able to provide donations, whether it be snacks, decorations, or even your time, please drop them off at the church. If you have any questions about what to donate, or would like more information about the volunteer process, please contact Gary Carter or the church office.
